Friedrich Stocker

New Castle, Friedrich Stocker, 85 passed away at UPMC Jameson Hospital on Sunday, April 7, 2024. He was born on July 25, 1938,  in Deuringen, Augobung, the son of the late Friedrich and Anna Stocker. Friedrich came to the United States in 1952. Friedrich graduated from Bessemer High School, and after school, he went into the US Army. Friedrich worked at the Bessemer Brickyard and later at General Motors where he would later retire. He was a former member of the Bessemer Croatian Club; he enjoyed CB Radios, but most enjoyed being with his family and friends. Friedrich is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Jim Huff)Wagner, two sons, Friedrich (Patty)  Stocker, and Arthur (Becky) Stocker, a sister, Ruth (Charles) Bluedorn,  his grandchildren, Friedrich Stocker, IV, Adam(Jessica) Stocker, Heather  (Rick) Clark, Zachary Wagner, Madison Stocker, Emily Woodall,  Lindsey Stocker, Nicholas Stocker, great-grandchildren, Cheyanne Rose Golembesky,  Raina Stocker, Conner Stocker, and Adalynn Wagner In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Adele (Holzer) Stocker, and a grandchild, Hanna Nicole Stocker. Visitation will be on Friday, April 12, 2024, from 4:30 - 6:00 pm at the Terry Cunningham Funeral Home in Bessemer followed by a funeral service at 6:00 pm. He will be laid to rest at Castle View Memorial Gardens.
